S.O.D. “Crab Society Demos” SOLD OUT

It was quite predictable that such an expected release would have sold out in a matter of days. FOAD headquarters have been literally submerged by so many purchase requests that we felt obliged to put together a new die hard edition: another 150 ultra-limited copies, this time with a slightly different content.

This edition contains the same items as the old Die hard edition, or better:

S.O.D. “Crab Society demos” Picture LP in gatefold sleeve with 2 sided poster

An extra 10″ transparent purple vinyl, containing the remastered version of a rare 1985 rehearsal with all the classic hits you want to hear, plus a pre-S.O.D. recording of a Discharge cover

– Superthick collectors’ boxset with full coloured print on both sides.

The MAIN DIFFERENCE is the 10″ color – transparent purple instead of highlighter yellow – and the sleeve: this time, it is wrapped into a baby toddler size tshirt, printed front and back, and exclusively created for this release and to fit the shape of a 10″ record!!!

The idea came about because we realized it had been quite difficult to pair t-shirts sizes with different orders, resulting in a few mismatches as we run out of the original stock… so we decided to give a t-shirt to the 10″ and make it unique, and forget about you!

This edition’s price had to be sensibly increased because we custom-ordered the t-shirts, resulting in a higher cost per unit. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are also sure you would not mind such a small increase when you can grace your collection with this incredible boxset!!!

To say it once again, S.O.D. “Crab Society Demos” (FOAD 025) is FOAD’s most ambitious releases so far. The official, complete reissue of the band’s seminal demotapes (remastered from the best sources existing), available for the first time ever on vinyl as a deluxe Picture LP.  It features the terrific 63-song ‘Crab Society North’ Pyramid Studios tape with embryonic versions of S.O.D. and M.O.D. anthems like ‘Jim Gordon’, ‘Vitality’, ‘Diamonds and Rust’, ‘Bubble Butt’, plus a never heard before 52-song, pre-S.O.D. session featuring Dan Lilker (S.O.D., Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, Brutal Truth) and Craig Setari (NYC Mayhem, Straight Ahead, Sick Of It All, Agnostic Front). Vital early crossoverthrash/blipcore madness from the mean streets of NYC!

This picture disc LP edition is housed in a high glossy gatefold sleeve, including a 2 sided poster with ultrarare 80s zine excerpts. This noise golem comes with an impressive front cover artwork by king of thrashing art Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse, Cripple Bastards and tons more!!)

Anything else to say?
